Less than a mile from the shores of Lake Ontario, Daredevil Daylily was most recently a bed and breakfast featuring a charter fishing service. For decades before that, it was orchard. In 2005, 800 named and seedling daylilies were moved from Niagara Falls so that hybridizing for diploid and tetraploid spiders and unusual forms could continue and expand.
Visitors by appointment. Weeders and rock haulers welcome anytime, day or night:

The Garden Of Marge Jasinski & Lee
Frey

In the early nineties I started my perennial garden on a small scale. Through the years I lost more grass (lasagna way) and added more perennials. My gardens now surround my house & garage. Small trees & shrubs were added for shade, hostas were then added.
In 2004 I added stone paths so you can stroll through the gardens to see the daylilies that have now been added for color.
My favorite feature are the three rustic arbors Lee made for me, now covered in clematis and white lights at night.
Lee & I are both members of BADS and the Hosta Society. I am also a member of the African Violet and Gesneriad Society of WNY, and sell violets out of my home.
As I expand my gardens to make room for my new passion, daylilies, I pot up the extra plants for sale or to donate to our clubs.
